We now offer rentals @ Monck Provincial Park daily from 8am-8pm by reservation.

Need your board in a different location in the Nicola Valley? We are MOBILE, we can come to you!
All rentals include board, paddle, leash and PFD.
Safety is our number one priority. Leashes are provided with ALL board rentals. Safety first. Fun to follow.
We require a damage deposit, and each person planning on using one of our boards is required to complete a waiver.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS, ASSUMPTION OF RISKS AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT (hereinafter referred to as the "Release Agreement")
BY COMPLETING THIS FORM AND AGREEING TO THESE TERMS YOU WILL WAIVE OR GIVE UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE OR CLAIM COMPENSATION FOLLOWING AN ACCIDENT. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
To: Nicola Valley Paddle Company, and its directors, officers, and employees, instructors, guides, agents, representatives, independent contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, sponsors, successors and assigns (all of whom are hereinafter referred as "the Releasees")
Definition: In this release agreement the term "the Activities" means all activities, events or services provided, arranged, organized, conducted, sponsored, or authorized by the Releasees included but not limited to standup paddleboarding, rental of standup paddleboards (hereinafter "SUP") and other equipment; orientational and instructional courses, tours, seminars, fitness and yoga sessions, and all travel , transport and accommodation and other such activities, events and services in any way connected with or related to the Activities.
Required equipment and refusal to lend to others: By submitting the form and consent below you agree that you have been provided with and advised to wear at all times, and approved PFD (personal flotation device) and pealess whistle. You acknowledge that the use of the SUP requires familiarity and training with the equipment. You agree to not permit any person who has not signed a Release Agreement with the Releasees to use any equipment provided by the Releasees including but not limited to the SUPs.
Assumption of risks: By checking the box below you agree that you are aware the the Activities involve many risks, dangers and hazards. The risks, dangers and hazards include but are not limited to: accidents which occur during transportation or travel to and from the put in, slip and falls while getting onto or off the SUP, falling off the SUP, overturning the SUP, loss of balance, impact, collision with or entrapment by trees, logs, deadfall, boats, other SUPs, paddles or equipment; hypothermia, changing and inclement weather conditions including storms, high wind, high waves, and lightning; encounters with domestic or wild animals; negligence on the part of other participants, and NEGLIGENCE ON THE PART OF THE RELEASEES INCLUDING THE FAILURE ON THE PART OF THE RELEASEES TO PROTECT YOU FROM THE RISKS, DANGERS AND HAZARDS OF PARTICIPATING IN THE ACTIVITIES.
Communication in the remote terrain which is sometimes used for the activities is difficult and in the event of an accident rescue and medical treatment may not be readily available.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
In consideration of the RELEASEES agreeing to your participation in the Activities and permitting use of their services, equipment, and other facilities, and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is acknowledged, you agree to each of the points below.
By entering into this Release Agreement you are not relying on any oral or written representations or statements made by the Releasees with respect to the safety other than what is set forth in this Release Agreement.
By completing AND SUBMITTING the below, YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THIS RELEASE AGREEMENT PRIOR TO COMPLETION AND THAT BY SUBMITTING THE FORM YOU ARE WAIVING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS WHICH YOU MAY HAVE AGAINST THE RELEASEES.
COVID-19 and Returning to Safe Operations
We are open and have implemented updated standard operating procedures as prescribed by WORK SAFE BC and our Provincial Health Authorities. Nicola Valley Paddle Company remains a small "boutique" activity provider, located in the Nicola Valley in the interior of British Columbia. We have implemented very stringent cleaning and hygiene protocols. Social distancing procedures are in place. We have taken every step possible to ensure the safety of you and your family or friends while enjoying the SUP activities that we offer.
PLEASE NOTE
All reservations MUST be made in advance by telephone only. For the safety of yourself and others there will be NO drop-ins permitted. All reservations will require payment in advance by E-transfer or Credit Card. Only one family or unit of friends will be hosted at any given time, (max 6).
